Our Story
Better Health AR Care was founded on a straightforward observation: people receiving disability support are too often fitted around a service, when the service should be fitted around them. We started to do it the other way round, providing trusted disability support across Melbourne and Victoria.
Our Vision & Mission

Our Vision
Empowering people with disability to live their best lives through accessible, innovative and personalised support.

Our Mission
To deliver responsive, inclusive and high-quality services that make a lasting positive impact in the lives of people with disability and their communities across Melbourne.

Our Values
- Respect: We honour the rights, privacy and choices of every person we support.
- Integrity: We are honest, ethical and accountable — in what we promise and in what we deliver.
- Inclusion: We embrace diversity and promote full participation in community life.
- Collaboration: We work in partnership with individuals, families and the broader community.
- Excellence: We strive for continuous improvement and professional best practice.
Our Approach
Person-centred active support is the method behind everything we do. In practice that means we support you to do things, rather than doing them for you — because every task you take on is a skill you keep. Your support plan is built from your NDIS goals, reviewed regularly, and changed whenever your life changes.

Our Compliance & Quality Standards
Better Health AR Care is a registered NDIS provider in Melbourne, audited against the NDIS Practice Standards. Our registration covers the Core Module — rights, responsibilities, governance and the delivery of supports — along with Core Module 4.3 (Management of Medication) and Core Module 4.5 (Management of Waste).
Every support worker on our team holds an NDIS Worker Screening Check, a Working with Children Check, current First Aid and CPR certification, and a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or Community Services (or is actively working toward one). All workers complete the NDIS Orientation Module and infection control training.
